Our family's film library dates back 36 years and is made up of 30,000 feet of 8 mm movie film and 95 two hour camcorder cassettes. It represents family holidays, birthdays, and family travel to over 22 countries and all the US states with our children, and 30 more countries after the children left home with my wife and myself. We have cared for this library as our most important asset, other than our family members, since its beginning. Tom Masters, the owner of 4U-DVD, immediately recognized our reluctance to part with these films and “cams” for him to do his magic in converting them to DVDs and thus adding another 100 years of video records as our heirloom to our family. Tom's “bedside manner” and care with our film library made this conversion to DVDs a great experience. Tom was meticulous in coordinating sound with video, and “filling in” the right instrumentals where age had taken its toll on the sound of some of the film. We place a high value on this film record of our family, and Tom treated it the same way. I certainly would not hesitate to recommend Tom to friends and family….in fact, I have already done so.
